Install the app on your phone or PC
Add Mediapro VAR Operation to your Home Screen and turn on notifications, so you never miss an assignment, a schedule change or a kick-off. It takes two minutes.

Choose your role to see what the app shows you after sign-in and which notifications you will receive.
VAR TG
After sign-in you land on My matches: your assigned matches by day with a kick-off countdown. Tap a match to open the checklist (pre-match and post-match items, remarks, sign-off) and, from kick-off, the VAR Technical Report.
Notifications: New assignment, with the match, date and stadium; Kick-off reminder a few hours before your match; Schedule changes to your matches; Report reviewed: when Mediapro sends your VAR report to the client; Messages from the operations team.
Replay Operator
Same as a VAR TG: My matches lists the matches where you are the Replay Operator, and the checklist opens for you as well. In the VAR Technical Report you are pre-filled as RRA.
Notifications: New assignment as RO, with the match, date and stadium; Kick-off reminder a few hours before your match; Schedule changes to your matches; Report reviewed: when Mediapro sends the VAR report to the client; Messages from the operations team.
Admin
After sign-in you land on the Dashboard: every match live, with checklist progress and who is online. Competitions, Users, Reports, Notifications and Settings are in the top bar.
Notifications: Pre-match checklist complete; Checklist signed off, with the report PDF; Kick-off in 30 minutes with the pre-match checklist incomplete; VAR TG offline before kick-off; VAR Technical Report submitted, with the PDF; Channels (push, e-mail) as set in your Alerts settings.
Client
After sign-in you land on the Dashboard: a live, read-only view of the matches in your competitions. Reports lists the VAR Technical Reports once Mediapro has reviewed them, with the PDF.
Notifications: VAR report available: when a report for your competition is reviewed (push, inbox and e-mail with the PDF).
Steps
iPhone · Safari
On iPhone and iPad the app is added from Safari's Share menu. Use Safari, not Chrome: only Safari can add it to the Home Screen with notifications.
Open the app in Safari and sign in
Go to app.mediaprovaroperation.tv in Safari and sign in with your e-mail and password.
Tap Share
In Safari's bottom bar tap the Share button, the square with the arrow pointing up.
Choose Add to Home Screen
Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
Tap Add
Keep the name VAR Ops and tap Add in the top right. The app icon appears on your Home Screen.
Open the app from the Home Screen
From now on always open it from the icon. It runs full screen and the install banner is gone. If you open the site in Safari instead, the banner reminds you.
Then enable notifications: tap the bell
In the top bar of the app tap the bell. Amber means notifications are off on this device.
Needs iOS 16.4 or newer, and the app opened from the Home Screen icon. In Safari the bell reads Install until you do.
Tap Allow
iOS asks once. Tap Allow. The bell turns green: notifications are on for this device.
Afterwards
Troubleshooting
- The bell says Install: install to the Home Screen first
- On iPhone, notifications only work for apps added to the Home Screen. Follow the iPhone steps (Share → Add to Home Screen → Add), open the app from its icon, then tap the bell.
- The bell says Blocked: notifications blocked
- iPhone: Settings → Notifications → VAR Ops → Allow Notifications. Android: hold the app icon → App info → Notifications → on. Windows: click the icon left of the address bar → Site settings → Notifications → Allow, then reload. Also check Focus / Do not disturb on the device.
- The bell says Unavailable: iOS older than 16.4
- Update the iPhone (Settings → General → Software Update). The app works without notifications until then; your admin will still see your progress.
- Wrong account on this device
- The bell says the device is enrolled for another account. Open the avatar menu → Sign out, sign in with your own e-mail, then tap the bell: the device moves to your account and the other account no longer receives its notifications here.
- Re-installing after an update
- You never need to reinstall: the app updates itself the next time you open it. If it looks stuck, close it fully and open it again. As a last resort remove the icon (iPhone: hold it → Remove App; Android: drag to Uninstall; Windows: ⋯ → Uninstall Mediapro VAR Operation), add the app again and enable notifications again.
